Energy and Sustainability

The DGS Office of Energy and Sustainability (OE&S) is responsible for ensuring that the purchase and consumption of energy in State operations minimizes costs and enhances sustainability. OE&S purchases electricity, oversees the State’s Energy Performance Contracting program, manages the State Energy Database, and chairs the Maryland Green Purchasing Committee.
