Muhammed Abdullateef has over 17 years of extensive experience in facilities management, having worked across both public and private sectors Before joining DGS as the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Facilities Management (OFM), Muhammed came from Prince William County and worked as the Assistant Director for Building and Grounds. Before that, he was with the City of Baltimore as Chief of Facilities Maintenance at the Department of General Services. Muhammed has served in other roles including Director of Facilities for a hotel chain and Superintendent of Public Building Repairs and Maintenance.
Throughout his career, Muhammed has demonstrated strong leadership in managing facilities operations, overseeing a diverse range of stakeholders including administrators, employees, contractors, consultants, and customers. He has a proven track record in directing and managing the design and construction of capital improvements for government facilities. Muhammed holds a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, CRC certificate, High-Performance Leadership certificate, and FMP certificate.
When Muhammed is not working, he loves to play soccer and cheer on the Baltimore Ravens.
