Wendy Scott-Napier has 28 years of public sector / real estate experience, including strategic planning, portfolio oversight, and transaction management. She has served as the Assistant Secretary for the Maryland, Department of General Services, Office of Real Estate since 2015 overseeing the state’s commercial leasing portfolio, totaling nearly 6 million square feet with a $130 million annual expenditure, and over-sight of leasing for the state’s owned portfolio totaling 5 million square feet. She also presides over the management of land acquisition and disposition, lease construction and lease compliance, and the state’s valuation and appraisal units, and administers various real estate projects on behalf of client agencies. Wendy holds degrees from Stevenson University and the University of Baltimore, and recently had an article published in the Spring 2024 edition of the Journal of Corporate Real Estate on implementing a lease compliance program​. ​
