GREEN PURCHASING CHECKLIST
Conducting a procurement? Start here.
Procurement officers must complete this checklist to ensure relevant specifications and environmentally preferable purchasing language are included for each procurement. This checklist will ensure that you are including relevant EPP specs when they exist, and allows the GPC to track compliance, opportunities, and barriers to green purchasing.
ENVIRONMENTALLY PREFERABLE REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS - GENERAL
No spec? This “general spec” includes language that can be inserted in any solicitation.

VENDOR GREEN SALES REPORT TEMPLATE
Ensure your contracts are reporting back their green spend.
To facilitate consistent reporting on contracts, procurement officers shall provide vendors with this template. This information will enable Maryland State agencies to comply with Article §14–405 of the Annotated Code of Maryland and COMAR 21.13.01.14.
