The Office of Human Resources supports the Department of General Services by providing guidance and oversight of matters that include: 

Employment Services - Provides a full range of personnel services to the employees and offers information and assistance to the public about job opportunities within the Department of General Services. 

Talent Acquisition and Compensation -  Provides reruitment services to identify talented candidates to join the DGS team and serve the State of Maryland. 

Employee Labor Relations - Serves as a consultant to DGS management with the appropriate advice and assistance on all disciplinary matters, grievances, and employer/employee related issues. 

Health Benefits and Leave Management - Assists employees with enrollment and continuous coverage of available health and leave benefits. 

Organization and Employee Development - ​Provides employees with professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge for their current role and prepare them for career growth.
