Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Inventory Reporting Process
The Department of General Services (DGS) is responsible for establishing standards for inventory control and maintaining the processes used to determine the value of State inventories.
As outlined in the DGS Inventory Control Manual, all State government units are required to submit Annual Inventory Reports based on their inventory records at the close of each fiscal year. These reports include Fixed Assets, Materials and Supplies, and Missing or Stolen Personal State Property. All Annual Inventory Reports are subject to audit.
Agencies must submit their Annual Inventory Reports electronically through the FY26 Annual Inventory Reports Survey Portal. This streamlined process improves the efficiency of inventory reporting and data collection.
