The Surplus Property and Support Services Division, within the Business Enterprise Administration Division, has program and operational oversight of state surplus online auctions, the Federal Surplus Property Donation Program, interagency mail and courier services, and other support services.
Through online auctions and prioritizing intra-State transfers, the Division ensures State agencies, local jurisdictions, non-profit organizations, and the public have equitable access to surplus property. As the designated statewide administrator of the Federal Surplus Property Donation Program (SASP), the Division facilitates the transfer of surplus federal property—such as vehicles, medical equipment, and technology—to eligible recipients, while managing eligibility determinations, compliance, reporting, and outreach initiatives. The Division also delivers essential mail, courier, and shipping services to support the core operations of State agencies.
